Images are compressed in parallel across your processor’s cores, so a batch finishes sooner than one image after another.
A ZIP that keeps your folders
The ZIP is built in your browser and unpacks to the folders and file names you added; a ZIP of one folder is named after it. A repeated name becomes “name (2).jpg”, so nothing is overwritten.
Every file under one size
With Exact file size, each image is brought under the same target on its own, which suits product photo sets and application uploads.
Review folder by folder
Images are grouped by folder, with subfolders nested inside, each with its count, progress and savings. A finished folder downloads on its own as a ZIP, and a folder you don’t need leaves the list in one tap. Each image shows its old and new size; remove or retry any without starting over.
Change settings for free
Compressing is unlimited, so trying new settings never counts against the free daily limit. Downloading the same image again that day, on the same device and in any format, size or quality, doesn’t count twice either.
No upload queue
Nothing is uploaded, so a large batch never waits on your connection. Only a one-way fingerprint per image reaches our server, and only when you download.

Bulk compression questions
How many images can I compress at once?
Up to 250 per batch, and compressing is unlimited. Free includes 3 downloads a day, resetting at midnight UTC, and the rest of the batch stays ready on the page. Pro has no daily limit.
Can I add a whole folder?
Yes. Drop a folder on the page or, in browsers that can choose folders, tap “or choose a folder” under the drop area or “Add a folder” below the list. Subfolders are included, and hidden and system files such as macOS’s ._ files, .DS_Store and __MACOSX are skipped. A batch holds up to 250 images; when a folder has more, Graviton says how many weren’t added.
Does the ZIP keep my file names and folders?
Yes. Each file keeps its original name, with a new extension if you converted it, inside the folder it came from, and a ZIP of one folder is named after it. If two files in a folder share a name, the second becomes “name (2).jpg”, so nothing is overwritten.
What happens when I drop a big folder?
It opens as a list of folders you can expand and collapse. Thumbnails are made a couple at a time as rows come into view, so big folders stay smooth on slow phones.
Can I mix formats in one batch?
Yes. JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF and HEIC can go in the same batch. With Same format each image keeps its own format (HEIC becomes JPG), or pick one output format for all of them.
What if I want different settings after the batch is done?
Change the settings and compress again. Compressing is unlimited, and an image you download again the same day on the same device counts once, so trying other settings doesn’t use up your limit.
Is there a limit on file size?
Each image can be up to 100 MB and 120 megapixels, on both plans. Images are decoded in your device’s memory, so very large ones need a lot of it, and on older phones it helps to turn on Resize.
