Why convert HEIC to PNG?
HEIC is the iPhone's default photo format. It's efficient, but Windows, many websites and older apps can't open it. PNG is lossless and supports transparency, which suits screenshots and graphics but makes photos large.
What happens to quality?
The conversion is lossless and every pixel is kept. PNG photos are large, so choose HEIC to JPG if you only need to share or upload.

Does Live Photo motion come along?
No. Graviton converts the still image of each HEIC. Live Photo video is stored separately and is not included.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Graviton converts and compresses inside your browser, so your images never leave your device. Nothing is sent while you compress. When you download, the browser sends only a one-way fingerprint of the image, so the download can be counted and approved. Graviton stores none of it.
