Drop your images here
JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC and GIF, up to 100 MB each
How it works
Compress in three steps
- 1
Drop your photo in. Phone photos and iPhone HEIC files both work.
- 2
Graviton compresses it to 50 KB or less as a JPG.
- 3
Download it and upload it to your application.
Common photo rules
Many exam and job portals in India ask for a JPG photo between 20 KB and 50 KB and a signature between 10 KB and 20 KB. Rules differ between forms, so always check yours and set the target to match.
Crop first
Most forms want a passport-style photo of your face and shoulders. Crop your photo before compressing, so all the detail goes into your face rather than the background.
Frequently asked questions
My form asks for 20–50 KB. What should I set?
Keep 50 KB. Graviton keeps the highest quality that fits, so the photo lands just under 50 KB and above the minimum.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Graviton converts and compresses inside your browser, so your images never leave your device. Nothing is sent while you compress. When you download, the browser sends only a one-way fingerprint of the image, so the download can be counted and approved. Graviton stores none of it.
Does it change the photo’s dimensions?
No, the width and height stay the same. If the photo would need very heavy compression to reach 50 KB, Graviton offers to shrink the dimensions instead. Forms usually care about file size more than exact pixels, but check yours.
Is it free?
Yes. Compressing and converting are free and unlimited, with no account needed. Downloading needs a free account, which includes 3 downloads a day with every format and setting. Pro removes the daily limit.
