One Export, Many Deliverables

Designers export from Figma, Sketch, or Photoshop and then need to prepare those assets for multiple destinations. A single design might need a compressed JPG for the website, a transparent PNG for the mobile app, a small JPG for email campaigns, and a WebP version for the progressive web app.

Managing these conversions manually means opening each file in an image editor, adjusting export settings, and saving multiple versions. Across a full project with dozens of assets, this repetitive work eats hours that should be spent designing.

Graviton simplifies the process. Upload your design exports, choose the target format, set the quality level, and download optimized assets ready for any platform. Batch process entire sets of icons, illustrations, or UI elements in a single session.

Format Conversion Between All Major Formats

Convert between JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, and GIF with a single upload. Output the exact format each platform or deliverable requires without opening an image editor.

Quality Control for Different Use Cases

Set compression levels appropriate for each deliverable. High quality for hero images and marketing materials, aggressive compression for thumbnails and email assets.

Bulk Export Processing

Upload a full set of design exports and process them all at once. Convert an entire icon set to WebP, compress a batch of illustrations, or optimize all assets for a new feature launch.

PNG Transparency Preservation

Graviton preserves alpha channel data when compressing PNG and WebP files. Your transparent backgrounds, overlays, and UI elements maintain their transparency throughout compression.

How Designers Use Graviton

From design tool export to production-ready assets in four steps.

1

Export from Your Design Tool

Export your designs from Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, or any design tool. Use your standard export settings — Graviton handles the optimization.

2

Upload to Graviton

Drag and drop your exported files into Graviton. Accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, and GIF up to 50MB each. Upload individual assets or batch process entire sets.

3

Convert to Needed Format

Select the target format for your deliverable. Choose PNG for assets needing transparency, WebP for web, JPG for broad compatibility, or AVIF for maximum compression.

4

Download Optimized Assets

Download individual files or the entire batch as a ZIP. Your assets are compressed, converted, and ready to hand off to development or upload to production.

Why Designers Choose Graviton

Professional-grade asset optimization without the complexity.

Any Format Output

Convert to JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, or GIF. One tool handles every format you need for web, mobile, email, and beyond.

Transparent PNG Support

Alpha channel data is preserved throughout compression. Your transparent PNGs stay transparent, whether you keep them as PNG or convert to WebP.

Bulk Asset Processing

Process entire icon sets, illustration batches, or UI element libraries in a single session. No more one-at-a-time exports.

Consistent Output Quality

Apply the same compression settings across a batch. Every asset in a set has consistent quality and file size characteristics.

No Extra Software

Graviton runs in your browser. No desktop app to install, no plugins to configure, no compatibility issues across operating systems.

Professional Controls

Quality sliders and format-specific settings give you precise control over the output. Fine-tune compression for each deliverable type.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Graviton fully preserves alpha channel (transparency) data when compressing PNG files. If you convert a transparent PNG to WebP, the transparency is also maintained. Converting to JPG will replace transparent areas with a solid background since JPG does not support transparency.

For UI icons and elements that need transparency, PNG or WebP are the best choices. WebP produces files 25-30% smaller than PNG with equivalent quality and transparency support. For photographs and complex images in your UI, JPG or WebP offer the best compression. AVIF provides the smallest files but has slightly less browser support.

AVIF offers the best compression ratios of any supported format — up to 50% smaller than JPG. It supports transparency, wide color gamut, and HDR. The trade-off is slightly less browser support than WebP, though all major modern browsers now support it. AVIF is an excellent choice when you can serve fallbacks or when targeting modern browsers only.

Graviton processes raster image formats only — JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, and GIF. It does not support SVG or other vector formats. If you need to compress SVG files, use a dedicated SVG optimizer. For raster exports of your vector designs, export from your design tool as PNG or JPG first, then compress with Graviton.

Yes. Upload multiple files and apply the same format and quality settings to all of them. This is perfect for converting an entire icon set from PNG to WebP, compressing a batch of marketing illustrations, or preparing assets for a new feature. Download everything as a ZIP when done.
